The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) is Australia's leader in practice-based engineering and information technology education and research, and currently enrolls over 7,000 students in industry-recognised courses from undergraduate to doctoral level.
The Faculty prides itself on its high level of engagement with the engineering and information technology professions locally and internationally, through its rigorous student internship programs, collaborative research projects, short course and consulting activities, and courses offered in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as our rigorous student exchange programs.
The Faculty is also the leading research faculty at UTS, with a diverse range of internationally recognised research being undertaken across the faculty's eight research centres and five academic schools by over 120 full-time academic staff and 450+ research degree students.
It's an exciting time to join us – as student, industry or research partner. We are currently consolidating our strategic directions and investment in our students, research and teaching, industry engagement and our staff. In 2014 we will relocate to a new state-of-the-art building, designed and fitted according contemporary architectural principles to serve our current needs and leverage our future strategic growth priorities.
