Scholarship Opportunities
The Faculty are currently offering research scholarships towards Doctoral or Masters by Research degrees in the areas of:
- Robotics
- Environmental and Water Engineering
- Petroleum Remediation Technology

Considering studying a research degree?
Proposed area of research
The first step is to identify your:
- proposed area of research
(applicants are expected to have developed interests in a specific area of research), and - potential supervisor(s)
(all research students work with the support and guidance of supervisors with expertise in the area of their study).
To assist, future research students are encouraged to view the faculty's:
- areas of research interest,
- available research supervisors and
- range of postgraduate research courses.

The UTS: University Graduate School's application process refers to faculty requirements for documentation; for the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology the requirements are for:

UTS: Engineering courses
For UTS: Engineering postgraduate research courses, email your prospective supervisor (that you think is best suited to supervise your research) a:
- curriculum vitae (CV), and
- research proposal (UTS: Engineering provide details on how to prepare your research proposal).
Once the supervisor is happy with your research proposal you need to complete the application process.

Applicants should first seek the approval of a UTS: Information Technology supervisor for their proposed research work.
